Today, 12th April 2022, the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has opened a period of consultation until 10th June 2022. The UK Government is seeking views on the full draft Dispatchable Power Agreement (DPA) for power Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage (CCUS).
Submitted responses will be used to identify if aspects have been overlooked that may inhibit the application of the business model, to ensure it can fully achieve the policy aims. Any relevant points raised may subsequently be addressed in the final form of the DPA contract.
