Technology Evaluation

‘Technology Evaluation’ involves assessing the feasibility, effectiveness, and potential impact of various technologies that can address specific challenges or achieve particular objectives.

Developing commercially viable energy transition technologies and their deployment is a multi-disciplinary exercise. It encompasses many facets including analysis of technical specifications, performance data, cost-benefit factors and environmental considerations to determine the most suitable technologies for a given application or industry.

All these factors must link appropriately for the technology to have utility. Commercially viable technologies must:

  • Be consistent with market demand and client expectations.
  • Technically feasible and ready to be deployed.
  • Able to meet regulatory hurdles and to be able to be deployed safely.
  • Be commercially viability to encourage investment and implementation.
  • Meet performance expectations of target users.
