The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has published its latest report, ‘Climate Change 2022: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability’, complete with both technical and policymaker summaries. This Working Group II contribution to the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) assesses the impacts of climate change, looking at ecosystems, biodiversity, and human communities at global and regional levels.
In the press release, Hoesung Lee, Chair of the IPCC, noted that the report is a dire warning about the consequences of inaction… “Our actions today will shape how people adapt and nature responds to increasing climate risks”.
